 Aaliyah dies in plane crash
Aaliyah Dies in Plane Crash - A Plane accident late Saturday night claimed the life of Actress and Rhythm and Blues singer Aaliyah, 22, whose albums Aaliyah and One in a Million catapulted her to superstardom. All nine people on-board the twin engine Cessna 402 aircraft were killed when the plane burst into flames shortly after take-off from the island of Abaco in the Bahamas where Aaliyah was shooting a music video. The plane was flying to Miami. Aaliyah's body-guard Anthony Dodd, 34, survived the crash but died a few hours later. Aaliyah also starred in the movie Romeo Must Die and was set to star in the sequel to Matrix.
