Gorgeous, actress Anna Wilding, we have just found out, was nominated for New Zealander of the Year and Woman of the Year in the year 2000/2001 for her active and postive anonymous contribution behind the scenes on Lord of the Rings.Other luminararies and thespians nominated that year included Lucy Lawless, Russell Crowe, Peter Jackson and various political figures.Anna was recently one of several people seen houring Sam Neill at a recent awards show in Los Angeles.
