 KOKUA FOR KATRINA INITIAL REPORT
Initial report: "Hawai'i cares" And the show is still going on till midnight HST!
I managed to get connected a few times for the webcast and then lost the signal entirely. What I did manage to view was extreemly well done, performances lively and upbeat, and it looked very well attended.
Kapono was in fine voice! Saw a few other familiar faces too. Unfortunately the broadcast wasn't the best, as I had the same report from others. Oh by the way it clicked back on for the last song when everyone joined in and sang. C&K's "Friends" off of their 30 Years of Friends Vol. 1 Reunion CD.

I did receive a couple of phone calls from friends who attended, perhaps we'll get some photos to share. Also was IM'ing and emailing a gal in Waikiki watching it on TV on almost every channel..
