 Evighet - already a success!
Carola's new single "Evighet" (the Swedish version of Sweden's entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2006) is the biggest single hit in her 23 year long career.
After topping the Swedish download charts (both the official and iTunes chart), "Evighet" became Carola's FIRST EVER no. 1 single in Sweden.
"Evighet" became the most sold single in Sweden in March and has now reached gold status four weeks after its release.
The track record on the Swedish Singles chart read:
w 12 - no 1
w 13 - no 1
w 14 - no 3
w 15 - no 1
In Norway, the single peaked at no 8 (no 4 on chart solely based on sales).
The English version "Invincible" will be released in Sweden and other European countries during May, no official release dates have been announced just yet.
The upcoming album "Fran nu till evighet" is released on May 17 in Sweden, and May 22 in Denmark (more relase dates will come shortly).
The so far untitled English album will be released in June.
