 Ciara Leads Vibe Award Nominations 13-Oct-2005
Ciara leads the field with five nominations for the 2005 Vibe Awards, which will be held Nov. 12 in Los Angeles and broadcast three days later on UPN. Ciara's nods include artist of the year, for which she will compete against Kanye West, Mariah Carey, John Legend and 50 Cent.
In the album of the year category, the nominees are "Get Lifted" by Legend, "Late Registration" by Kanye West, "The Documentary" by the Game,
"The Emancipation of Mimi" by Carey and "The Naked Truth" by Lil' Kim.
Kanye West, 50 Cent and the Game will duke it out with Ludacris and T.I. for best rapper. As reported
