In Memory of Hawaii's Lady of Love (Loyal Garner) who passed five years ago today, teamed with Kai, Melveen Leed and Nohelani Cypriano to form the group called "Local Divas.". Devoted to music since the age of five, two-time Na Hoku Hanohano award winner. Kumu hula meaning Hula Teacher.
Danny's reference to The Lady of Love's song.. Kumu Hulas They Say, Ha’a Hula This Way. Kumu Hula is a teacher of Hula.

Lots of damage, epicenter said to be between Kona and Waikoloa. Walmart collapsed and Kona Hospital is being evacuated due to structural damage. Roads are closed and electric turned off. Phones are working. "First I heard a rumbling. Then the house started to shake. Then broken glass shattering everywhere," I first stood under a door frame as safety experts advise, then found that too wobbly for comfort and ran into the yard.

Danny Couch performed to a standing room only crowd at the Pikake Room during Made in Hawaii day #3 (@ 1PM Hawaii Time.)
