Couch, will be taking a break from his 18-month old show at the
Sheraton Princess Ka'iulani's Ainahau Showroom after next week. His
last Wednesday-only show will be on October 15th, although Couch says
this is just a break and he is already planning special event shows,
like Mother's Day and Valentine's Day.
"Yes, the economy is partly to blame," said Shirley Cambe, Couch's
manager. "But we look at this as a good time to re-energize and even
create a new show. We are so thankful to Danny's many fans who have
supported him throughout his career, and want to assure them he will
be back soon, and will soon be releasing a new CD entitled "Danny
Couch - I'll Remember You," which pays tribute to the late Don Ho and
his songs.
