On Tuesday, September 11, 2007 everyone in the USA who
will be driving a motor vehicle is asked to drive with their headlights
on during daylight hours. Though no explanation is needed as to why we
are commemorating September 11, we hope more importantly to pay
respect to the victims of that day, show our nation's solidarity and
show support for our men and women of the Armed Forces.

 Comet Coming This Weekend 12-Jan-2007
Just passing, the best comet for 32 years
This is the spectacular view of the brightest comet for 32 years. And suitably for a phenomenon once seen as a portent of doom, it was spotted over World's End.
Comet McNaught, which is set to shine brighter than the planet Venus this weekend, was caught on camera at sunset when it is at its best.
Heading for the sun: Comet McNaught shines brightly in the twilight. Weather permitting, it will be visible over the weekend
The newly discovered comet, first observed in Australia last August, is three times more dazzling than Hale-Bopp in 1997.

Danny's song, "When Hawaiian's Fall" closed Aloha Joe's live show honoring the fallen, Dick Jensen (someone Danny worked with and Aliis member Bobby King was in Dick's band opposite of working with Danny). Dick Jensen was honored last year at the HMA's for a lifetime award. This photo of Danny with Dick Jensen was taken last year.
