A great way to become familiar with some of the best sounds from Hawaii is to get active in one of the ORGANIZED FAN CLUBS. Collecting URLs of some of THE FAN Clubs we're aware of so others can find them easilly.
THEY ARE A GREAT SOURCE OF INFORMATION!
I'm trying to establish a list of Organized FAN CLUBS clubs for Hawaiian Music and would appreciate your input.

Another one of our Danny Couch Fanaddicts Fan Club Members has been found! We heard from Denise who's home is in Gulfport LA. yesterday saying she is fine and has moved in with family members in New York. Today Madi (from Pensacola) got in touch with us. She too saw our message here at StarPages.
She is a Naval Reserve nurse has been deployed to the Storm torn area. Having helped many who were not as fortunate as herself.

THANKS TO STARPAGES AND MOUNTAIN APPLE MESSAGEBOARD one of our Fan Club Members has been found. Denise who's home is in Gulfport LA. has emailed us saying she is fine and has moved in with family members in New York. Unfortunately her house was mostly destroyed in the hurricane but all are safe. Denise also mentions she believes Madi (from Pensacola) a Naval Reserve nurse has been deployed to the Storm torn area.
We're very relieved to hear that two of our friends/Fanaddicts are safe and that you took the time to let us know.

The following was sent to me by a retired Navy Commander in San Diego, CA. Another view of the relief Katrina effort...some of which you haven't heard about!
A horendous hurricane (Katrina) has left our country wounded, an entire city evacuated and surrounded area devistated. Rescue efforts are being made that the media is remiss in mentioning. Many private, civilian and military have given of themselves unselfishly to help in the rescue mission. This is only one story! (so far)

Lisa Ladner and her family huddled earlier this week in a Mississippi Ramada Inn watching cows float down Interstate 10 while parts of the hotel's roof caved and water churned by Hurricane Katrina poured in from overhead light fixtures.
Today Lisa, her three children and a nephew are safe at her parents' home in 'Aiea. Mostly, they are thankful to have escaped. "It's like a roller coaster."
Ladner and her children know others have it worse. They've heard from Ladner's husband and brothers who remained behind, bringing supplies to stranded neighbors and collecting bodies in the family's ponto
