Members of the British rock group Def Leppard placed their handprints in cement during a private ceremony at Hollywood's RockWalk on September 5, 2000 in Hollywood. Def Leppard are going to be honoured on the Hollywood Rockwalk in Los Angeles.The band, originally from Sheffield, are the latest musicians to be included in the Rockwalk for their contribution to Rock N Roll as an artform.Previous inductees include Aerosmith, Marvin Gaye, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley, John Lennon and Stevie Wonder. All new inductees are chosen by previous honourees.Today's ceremony will see the members of Def Leppard placing their hands in concrete for posterity.September 9, 2000
