This piece can be viewed on Gerard's Homepage! It is based on Beothuk
mythology! The beothuk and extinct race of
people, who once inhabitied the Island.
The chair design is derived from drawings
made by Shaninidithit, the last known
surviveing Beothuk. She died in the early 1800's
