Get ready to vote and celebrate with the Hawaii Music Awards starting soon! Online voting will happen at the Hawaii Music Awards website during January and February.
How do you vote? It's simple, ANYONE around the world with access to the internet & an e-mail address can vote. Winners will be announced and all nominees will be honored at several events from March 15 to March 18, 2006. The HMA invites the Music Fans from around the world to visit Oahu to celebrate Hawaii's music and culture.

 Who's the next big star in Hawaiian music? 3-Jan-2006
The accolades for Hawaiian vocalist Raiatea Helm have been piling up every year since she burst on the Island music scene with her 2002 debut album, "Far Away Heaven." But 2006 could be the biggest yet for the 21-year-old Moloka'i native.
The only musician in this year's crop of best Hawaiian music album Grammy nominees with an all-vocal recording. Helm is also the only female artist up for the award. Standing out from the other nominated albums might give Helm a chance of winning the golden gramophone in Los Angeles on Feb. 8.
