SEATTLE Performance of JAKE
Absolutely awesome concert by Jake Shimubukuru 'ukulele master' (Ukulele translation meaning "Jumping Flee" in Hawaiian. last evening. Doing a solo performance (left the backup band and his effects machine at home) True personification of his Ukulele. Up close and personal at Beneroya Hall NORDSTROM RECITAL HALL.
Jake poured on the electric as well as the simplicity of this remarkable four string instrument.
If you get the chance to see him in person I would personally highly recommend it.
It was great catching up with some friends at the concert. And a special Aloha to Uncle Gregg Porter
