 'N Syncers Keeping Busy 3-Oct-2002
They may not be holed up in the recording studio producing their next album, but it looks like the fellas from 'N Sync have all waved bye, bye, bye" to any hope of rest and relaxation for the time being.
Wannabe space cadet Lance Bass, who was recently booted from a Russian space mission for not paying his $20 million bill, has resumed training at the country's Star City cosmonaut center this week in hopes of blasting off on a future mission.

MOST people would settle for just being a boy-band star, but not *NSYNC's Joey Fatone. The rhythm-master, move-making singer is showcasing his many talents on various stages these days. Fatone is in the movie sleeper hit of the summer, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" - which is still going well at the box office despite being released back in April. He's also now on Broadway in "Rent."
Fatone plays "Mark, the struggling video artist." While *NSYNC makes more than $1 million a concert, I'm told Fatone is being paid close to the minimum rate of about $1,300 a week for his work in "Rent." But h

'NSYNC fans and Rent-Heads seem like they come from two different worlds, but if Joey Fatone's first week on Broadway is any indication, those worlds are in sync.
On August 5, the curtain rose on Fatone's debut in the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning musical "Rent," in which the pop star stepped into the lead role of Mark Cohen, the struggling documentary filmmaker who acts as the narrator and moral conscience of a group of New York City 20-somethings. While "Rent" has been running on Broadway for six years, this was the first time that a music star had taken a role.

 Joey Fatone To Make His Broadway Debut In 'Rent' 19-Jul-2002
*NSYNC singer Joey Fatone will make his Broadway debut in the musical Rent this summer, according to the show's producers. Fatone will star as filmmaker and video artist Mark Cohen in the New York company of the Tony Award-winning musical. Fatone began rehearsals for the show on Monday (July 8), and he will make his debut on August 5.

 *NSYNC Partners With Chili's For Ads, Tour Sponsorship 25-Jan-2002
*NSYNC has signed a marketing agreement with Chili's Grill & Bar to star in a series of commercials promoting the restaurant's baby back ribs and "to go" service. Chili's will also be the lead sponsor of the band's upcoming concert tour. The new Chili's commercials featuring *NSYNC singers Lance Bass, J.C. Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Justin Timberlake will debut on Monday (January 21).

 *NSYNC Might Appear In 'Star Wars: Episode II' 10-Jan-2002
Star Wars fans have been reeling at rumors that the members of *NSYNC will make an appearance in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack Of The Clones, so LAUNCH sought to separate fact from fiction. A call to Lucasfilm spokesperson Lynne Hale confirmed the following: Yes, the members of the aging boy band were shot in the background of a scene in Episode II, but no, it wasn't at the behest of George Lucas's daughter, allegedly a big *NSYNC fan. Hale laughed at the latter detail, a story that has been widely reported as fact.
