Jon Secada was born on 4th October, 1962 in Havana, Cuba. He was an only child, and he fled to Miami with his parents when he was only eight.
At school, it was music that was always Jon's main interest. He gained a degree in Jazz Arrangement, and was soon spotted by Gloria Estefan and her husband, Emilio.
It was during Gloria's comeback tour in 1991, 'Coming Out of the Dark' that started Jon Secada on the road to stardom. Not only did he co-write some of the tracks including the title number, but Gloria gave Jon his own solo spot each night.
In 1992, things really became to happen for Jon Secada. 'Just Another Day' went to the top of the charts all around the world, and his eponymous debut album, 'Jon Secada' sold millions of copies... | Page:
