Hey Jules Julian's debut album, "Valotte", came out in 1984. The title single as well as "Too Late For Goodbyes" quickly went to #1 and sent Julian off on an unsuspected tour... when he got back he was forced to quickly write his sophmore album "Secret Value of Daydreaming" which though "Stick Around" hit top 40 the album was of little success and sent Julian into depression and drugs. By 1989 he had cleaned himself up and came back with "Mr. Jordan" an experimental album whose first single "Now Your In Heaven" got some air play but not much.. Later in 1991 came "Help Yourself" the single "Saltwater" on the album made #1 everywhere but the US where Julian felt his record company (Atlantic) didn't do much to support him. After nearly 2 yrs of promotion, Julian basically left the music industry and work on getting out of his contract with Atlantic Records. In 1998, he formed his own record label, Music From Another Room/4tune Music, and release "Photograph Smile" in Eurupe, Australia, and Asia.. it was released in the US in 1999 and was followed by a 2 month club tour. Currently Julian is based in Europe and is writting music with new songwritting companion (also on Photograph Smile) Gregory Darling... past companion Justin Clayton has his own solo venture now...
