After his 1998/1999 release of "Photograph Smile" and a 2 month club tour in the US, Julian has been taking a bit of time off. Julian is currently based in Europe and is writting music with new songwritting companion (also on Photograph Smile) Gregory Darling... past companion Justin Clayton has his own solo venture now...
You can see Julian in a documentary film called "Pop & Me" which will be released to Blockbuster stores Nation wide come this December. The film is a about how fathers and sons interact and was done by father/son duo Richard and Chris Roe... in 1996 they met up with Julian in France and interviewed him for the film.. he talks about how his father really wasn't a father at all to him and the frustration he has with interviewers not realizing that he is a separate intity from his dad.
