Ka Hui Hula O Ka `Aina Punahele will sponsor a weekend of hula workshops with Keali`i and Hawaiian language lectures by Puakea Nogelmeier. What on the surface may appear to be a case of "overnight success" is anything but that. Keali'i's years of work and dedication to the perpetuation of Hawaiian language, culture, hula, and chanting led him down the road to stardom. He's a popular and bestselling singer, songwriter, choreographer, dancer, chanter, scholar, teacher, and personality from the State of Hawaii.
Through his busy schedule he retains the initial goal of presenting new compositions in the Hawaiian language for hula students, and works to dispel long-held stereotypes of his birthplace.

This is a big fundraiser for the Twinsburg library this weekend with Puakea Nogelmeir giving a language class on Friday and Keali'i Reichel teaching hula on Sat & Sun with a luau and ho'ike Sat. night. This is a very exciting weekend! ~MAHALO FOR YOUR INPUT!
