Michael Jackson cancelled theatre visit Michael Jackson cancelled plans to see 'Madame Melville' on Thursday night after falling on his broken foot. He has been given 'strict instructions' to rest by his doctor after the latest accident.
A spokesman said Thursday's incident came about when Jackson tripped on something inside the hotel. Jackson's doctor had since given him a serious warning to take things easy.
"The last thing in the world he would do would be to let a long-time friend like Macaulay Culkin down, but as a singer and a dancer he has to be seriously careful with his feet," the spokesman added.
Jackson has been in Britain since the start of the week, and has carried out a number of long-standing commitments including giving an address to the Oxford Union on Tuesday about child welfare.
