Meat Loaf will begin filming a movie next week for the USA Network entitled "Trapped". He will play the role of Jim - Chief Engineer of a hotel/casino which suddenly catches fire due to an arsonist.
The made for TV movie Meat filmed two years ago entitled "The Ballad of Lucy Whipple" starring Glenn Close will FINALLY air on CBS Network this February 18th - check local listings for exact time.
Meat is still on board to play a food critic in an indy film set to begin filming sometime in April - still no other details on this one.

Meat has returned to the US from his filming "The 51st State" in the UK.
His focus will now be on the new FUN HOUSE CD, that is slated to go into the studio just after the new year! Meat also has the lead, and will begin filming a new movie in April called
"Polish Spaghetti" where he plays a food critic...appropriate perhaps, but watch out ladies...this one has a romantic interest in it....called a "romantic comedy" this new movie is bound to be a hit with Meat Loaf fans.

Confirmed by Left Bank and by Meat himself,
Meat Loaf will be playing the role of "The Lizard" in the soon to be
filmed Samuel L. Jackson movie entitled 51st State. The movie is about a
chemist who concocts a drug which produces the ultimate "high". Due to the
nature of the ingredients, the drug is legal. The recipe for the drug
becomes a hot commodity, with numerous vagraints trying to steal the secret
from the chemist. Meat Loaf will play one of those "bad guys".

This CD will be called "FUNHOUSE" and will be produced
by Mick Jones of Foreigner! Meat has recently
finished filming several movies, among them is "Rustin"
which just premiered on June 8th and was a fabulous
success Other completed movies to watch for are HBO's
"Blacktop", ABC's "The Ballad Of Lucy Wipple", and
"Salton Sea" with Val Kilmer. There are 2 new movies
he has just begun filming..."Focus" and "Wishcraft"
