On April 21st, Meat Loaf's newest album was released in the UK and Germany. Many bids have been made for it in the USA, and it will soon be released there. "Couldn’t Have Said It Better" is Meat Loaf’s first studio album after his 1996 platinum success "Welcome To The Neighbourhood". The new CD was produced by Peter Mokran, renouned for his work with the Backstreet Boys, Brandy, The Flaming Lips, R Kelly, Michael Jackson, Maxwell and *NSYNC. Songs were written by a number of different people, including Diane Warren, Jo Davidson, Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue, Kevin Griffin from Better Than Ezra, Singer songwriter James Michael, and Steve Trask composer/lyricist from "Hedwig and the Angry Inch". "Couldn't Have Said It Better" has taken even longer than Bat 2 to create- and it sounds like it too! The record is available in the UK as a limited edition 2CD set with 11 brand new tracks (plus 5 bonus tracks).It includes duets with Patti Russo and Pearl Aday. "Meat Loaf is going to surprise people with this one. This is some very slammin' rock`n' roll.
