 Naomi Watts and Mulholland Drive co-star Laura Harring win "alternative" kind of award 14-Mar-2002
The March issue of Movieline magazine has a small section where they give nominations to films in catagories the Oscars overlook. Mulholland Drive received two such "honors," one for Naomi Watts and Laura Elena Harring for "Most Magical Pairing" and one for "Most Unnerving Masturbation Scene" for "Naomi Watts' tearful, angry session."

Naomi Watts is slated to play the lead role in Gore Verbinski's upcoming film, "Ring." The film deals with a mysterious video tape. Each person who receives it dies within seven days. Watts plays a journalist trying to solve the mystery of the videotape.
