How the stars stay in shape 26-May-2003 [ © www.nataliefans.com ] This week we find out how Aussie beauty Natalie Imbruglia
stays in shape.
This stunning Australian-born 28-year-old former Neighbours star (she was tomboy Beth) has undergone a massive change and is now a pop sensation and, more recently, made her big movie debut in the James Bond spoof Johnny English, alongside Rowan Atkinson.
She played special agent Valdez, the object of English's furtive desire.
After Neighbours, she couldn't get any auditions for good roles because she was typecast, so she moved to London and reinvented herself as a singer - and no

Comedian Rowan Atkinson's new film about a suave, slick
yet accident-prone secret agent is being used by tourist chiefs to lure more overseas visitors to London. The newly-created VisitBritain organisation, which replaces the British Tourist Authority and the English Tourism Council, has produced a map in four languages to accompany the film Johnny English.
A number of top tourist locations including the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey feature in the new spy comedy which gets its world premiere this week.
The map tells visitors what they can see and d

Interview in 'Veronica' (Dutch Magazine) 5-Apr-2003 www.nataliefans.com
An interview in the tv-guide 'Veronica'
(Dutch Magazine - Edition 5/11 April)
No real news from that interview, but she did say that the engangement-period want take too long.
Translation of the last part of the interview:
Can we expect more movie-roles from Natalie after Johnny English? "I'm currently busy with something, but I don't know yet if it will be concrete. It dissapointed me that there are so little good parts for women. It looks like if all nice parts are written for men. I just want to play a man."

Imbruglia's aussie work ethic [ www.nataliefans.com ] 5-Apr-2003 (www.nataliefans.com)
Movie babe Natalie Imbruglia has hailed the hard working attitude of her fellow Australians - and cites that as the reason she's risen from a wilting singing career to a film star.
The brunette beauty - who co-stars with British comic Rowan Atkinson in new flick Johnny English - believes Aussies need to work harder because they're tucked away in an extreme part of the world.
She says, "We (Australians) are fantastic. We are very ambitious and, perhaps because Australia is so far away, those of us that take on the challenge to break internationally take it serio

Imbruglia on her long-distance love affair (www.nataliefans.com) 21-Mar-2003 [ www.nataliefans.com ]
With her bikini-clad curves and saucer-wide eyes, Natalie Imbruglia would give
any Bond girl a run for her money.
But when Natalie plays the spy game, she plays it for laughs - as her role in
the new Bond spoof Johnny English proves.
The Aussie singer had a ball as the love interest of comic actor Rowan Atkinson,
who stars as the inept trainee agent of the title.
Natalie was more than ready for a little light relief. Despite being one of the
stunning faces of make-up giant L'Oreal, her love life has not always been a
success.
Her relationship wi

Atkinson and Imbruglia shoothed some actions
scenes by their own. Under the supervision of the coordination specialist Paul Jennings Atkinson drove a Aston Martin DB7. He was alsos pent several hours hung of a cable of the ceiling of the cathedral of St. Albans(that in the film represents Westminster Abbey), in the scene that represents the climax of the film).
Imbruglia rolled with great effectiveness the scene in which she has to fight, insisting on making use as less as possible of her double. She also trained to drive such

Biography 13-Mar-2003 [All about Natalie Imbruglia @ www.nataliefans.com]
Natalie was born in a little coastal town, Berkleyvale in the state of New South Wales in Australia.
Natalie has Italian blood in her veins, her father is from Italy, hence the name Imbruglia, her mother however is from Australia. Natalie was the oldest child in that family, she has three younger sisters. Her family was a "non-showbis" family apart from her father's singing in a band called "The Birds And The Bees". Everyone in the coastal town of Berkleyvale surfed, and one summer Natalie and her friends wanted to be on the same ca
