 The Chemistry of Verbs - Sacrificial Book by Nikkolai
Sacrificial Book is a book in which several things have been brought together the past, the future and the present, magic and logic, rational and emotions, all orchestrated by completely new type of text, which suits the best that view of art that is in the theory called semiotic structuralism. Using the advantages offered by the semiotic structuralism, in the sense of creating the work as a special language-sign system, the poet uses that characteristic both on general and completely individual plan, offering us the possibility to, by moving through one matrix of sign system, plunge into the second, from second to third and so on endlessly. As if every matrix represented the door for the second matrix, and that second for some third matrix. If we observe it in that way, the book has a physical end, but logically and emotionally it continues in us.
In the book Sacrificial Book, the poet very skilfully uses the knowledge of other media, such as video, film, Internet and the others. That is why I am not surprised by the fact that the book has been a great inspiration to designers and that it represents an excellent graphic work. In that sense, all my congratulations go to the poet, but also to the designer and the publisher.
We definitely have before us a book that will leave behind it a very clear, authentic and inspirational trace. | Page:
