Robbie WilliamsRobbie Williams - The Facts by www.fans-supreme.com
Name: Robert Peter Maximilian Williams Birthday: 13th February 1974 Birthplace: Stoke-On Trent Star sign: Aquarius Colour of eye: green Colour of hair: dark brown Height: about 1,85 Parents: Peter Williams (stage name: Pete Conway), Theresa Jeanette Williams (Jan)...seperated,when Rob was 2 years old, he grew up at his mother’s place. Sister: Sally (7 years older than Rob) Residences: London/Los Angeles Education: Mill Hill Primary School, St. Margaret Ward School.. at the age of 16 rob finishes his school days, and takes a musical path Employment: short as sales representative for Doublex Windows...(but unfortunatly, or fortunatly, without success-who knows, what he had became instead...?) Hobbies Football (Fan of the Port Vale Football Club http://www.port-vale.co.uk) Parlour games like Backgammon,UNO and...? let’s wait and see, with which game he whiles away the time the next time!) Music (of course!) when he doesn’t sing, Rob plays a bit the guitar and he even played the drums, too. Robbie and Drugs Drugs and alcohol...cocaine and vodka... that all was once a part of Robbie Williams. After he got out of Take That, the press reported repeatedly about Rob’s alcohol problems. Years later he says about himself:"I`ve been a fully-blown alcoholic and a fully-blown drug addict.I couldn`t go into rehearsals without drinking a bottle of Vodka.I couldn`t leave without drinking myself stupid each night. I didn`t know what to do with myself." In an Interview with the Select Magazine in May 1997 he replied to the question what he had did the last year: "Well, this and that, you know? I can't remember most of it." "I was fucking drunk!" he beams. At this time Rob was often to find at parties and in pubs..."I didn`t know [..] about wanting to sort your problems out.I didn´t have any problems - I had cocaine!" Robbie’s mother,Jan,stood always behind him and supported him, everywhere she was able to, but in the end he had to decide on his own that he wanted to make a withdrawal treatment. ''Robert is poorly. He has a drink problem. It's like having an illness. ''I have no doubt that Robert will address it and is addressing it. He has been looking at the whole situation for about 12 months and he's doing it of his own free will. ''I love him like any mum would love her son and you do what you can. I know Robert's going to be all right and I am proud of him.'' In June 1997 he went into the "Clouds House Drink and Drugs Rehabilitation Clinic in Salisbury, Wilstshire ". Unfortunately Rob wasn’t able to keep away from the alcohol even after this time. Only on his last tour he was totally clean. In the documentation "Nobody Someday" he speaks very openly about the topic alcohol and drugs... "I`ve been trying to get sober for four years.Booze and drugs worked for me since I was 19.They were my crutch. They gave me the confidence and the escape that I needed. It hasn`t been like that for four years. But still there is a underlying thing in my brain that says,if you do this time,it will be fine.....[...] The devil over your shoulder.Amazing how it`s made to be your friend!” Rob is a member of the Alcoholics Anonymous and goes to their meetings regularly. Even on the last tour he looked up a group in Hamburg. He says about alcohol: " I only want to get laid if I`m drinking.I only can get laid if I`m drinking. It`s a lot easier if you`re pissed. But I can only have a relationship with another human being if I`m sober,I cannot let love into my live.I will not accept somebody coming and loving me.I wouldn´t know how to love them because I`m a selfish-pitying fool. Today, I really don`t feel like a drink! I really don`t feel I could put any cocaine up my nose! The compulsion to do all that stuff has been removed today!
