Born 13th April, 1950 in Washington Heights, New York, Ronald Francis Perlman attended George Washington High School. Graduating with an M.A. in Theatre from the University of Minnesota, Ron became a professional actor in 1973.
Working both in regional theatres and on Broadway, Ron made a name for himself as an innovative and talented actor, working with directors like Peter Brook and starring in plays such as the highly-acclaimed production of Fernando Arrabal's 'The Architect and the Emperor of Assyria'. His first film performance came in 1981 in Jean-Jacques Annaud's award-winning 'Quest
