The search for contestants to participate in the

HANDS” contest deadline was March 3rd, 2005. We
are now in the process of reviewing all submissions.

"Aloha Miles Away" by Scott Katsura was voted the 'Best Pop Album of the Year' for 2005 at the Hawaii Music Awards.
Aloha Joe listeners have recently been introduced to this Award Winning Hawaiian POP Artist on Tuesday. Scott was interviewed on ALOHA JOE's Daily Show. Scott told Joe he is looking forward to returning to Hawaii for the HMA and meeting a lot of the fans.

Winners of the 8th Annual Hawai'i Music Awards
were announced on February 23rd, 2005 by the
Music Foundation of Hawai'i.
Scott Katsura and his "Aloha Miles Away" CD was
awarded the honor of 'Pop Album of the Year'.
Airtime Recording Company, Inc. based in New York
City, and Scott Katsura, would like to extend their
deepest love and gratitude for each and every
supporter who voted. According to Scott, "We
receive this award in honor of the people, the fans,
these very individuals who made it all possible to

 New CD Release - 25-Feb-2005
Not many singers from Hawaii make it as far in the
Big Apple as Scott Katsura has. Signed with Airtime
Recording Company, a record label based in
Manhattan, Scott has just released his fourth full-
length CD album titled, "Aloha Miles Away". For the
very first time, Scott is making known that his
native origin of birth and upbringing is of the State
of Hawaii. Though, don't be too surprised in
discovering a musical collection of everything but
Hawaiian familiarity. There are no signs of wavy
steel guitars, or ukulele's that strum in the usual
fashion at Kodak hula shows. W
