"My laptop was completely ruined when my office flooded. Even the hard disk was wrecked; but I didn't lose a single document."

New CD Release - Not many singers from Hawaii make it as far in the
Big Apple as Scott Katsura has. Signed with Airtime
Recording Company, a record label based in
Manhattan, Scott has just released his fourth full-
length CD album titled, "Aloha Miles Away". For the
very first time, Scott is making known that his
native origin of birth and upbringing is of the State
of Hawaii. Though, don't be too surprised in
discovering a musical collection of everything but
Hawaiian familiarity. There are no signs of wavy
steel guitars, or ukulele's that strum in the usual
fashion at Kodak hula shows. What you will find is a
delightful blend of adult contemporary ballads and
pop dance ditty songs that seduce you with catchy
hooks and introspective songwriting. Unique and
with original quality, AMA's collection of eighteen
generous tracks somehow manages to be classic
and recognizable - and yet, it's as if you're hearing
these songs for the very first time. Scott is credited
as the sole producer of the entire album, as well, he
was given the full authority in selecting the entire
production team. For musical orchestration and
arrangement he chose Martin Bejerano, this year's
2005 Grammy nominee for 'Best Instrumental Jazz
Album' with Roy Hayne's Jazz Quartet. David
Velarde, the Broadway lead in 'Jesus Christ
Superstar' co-wrote and arranged all background
vocals. The AMA CD was mastered by Gene Paul,
son of the legendary Les Paul, the world famous
founder of multi-track recording, as well, the
originator of Gibson guitars. AMA is highly
recommended for the ear that craves something
new, refreshing, smooth and crisp. Simply paradise! | Page: Page:
