Meet Our Newest Distinguished Fanaddict HAVE YOU SEEN THESE ISLANDS? DO YOU HEAR THE BEAUTIFUL SAXOPHONE? Danny's Couch's Instrumental Version of his Beloved Ballad "These Islands" off of Danny's "Something To Remember" CD.
It's Scott Villiger from Kailua, Hawaii one of Hawaii's most versatile and accomplished woodwind artists coming from the islands. Baritone sax, flute, clarinet were particularly mentioned. A member of the Royal Hawaiian Band since 1987, Scott is also in demand with the Honolulu Symphony as a woodwind specialist, performing on clarinet, flute, oboe, and saxophone. Scott received his BM and MM from the famed Juilliard School of Music, in New York City.
Scott will again be partaking in "Swingtime In Hawaii" Part II 2005 12th Annual Hawaii International Jazz Festival April 1-2 2005.
