 Tarkan in Vienna 2-Jul-2006
A fantastic event took place on 23 June in the European captial of culture, Vienna.
Since 1984 Europe's largest open air festival has been held on the Danube Island in Vienna.
The 23rd Danube Island Festival this year saw 250,000 fans gather to watch Tarkan live on stage.
It was a spectacular event.

 Tarkan at Juventus Radio, Hungary 24-Feb-2005
Recently Hungarian fans are very happy: Tarkan has made it to the radios with Dudu! First only a couple of smaller regional radio stations started playing the song, then one of the bigger national radios, Juventus Radio have put it on their list. It has also made its way to the Wish List, where fans can vote for their favourites. Last week Tarkan finished first in the list! This week he fell back to third but still Dudu is goig to be announced as one of the favourite songs of the radio listeners. Tarkan has already got more than 23.000 votes!

THE DEAR DEPARTED RAY CHARLES HAS HAD HIS LIFE RECORDED FOR FILM
Tarkan was at a special invitation only screening of Taylor Hackford's tribute to the father of soul music, Ray Charles
The special screening included director Spike Lee and Yoko Ono.
The screening was by special invite from the old founder of music giant Atlantic Records, son of an Ottoman diplomat, Ahmet Ertegun who had also discovered the music legend.
Atlantic Records has signed Tarkan for a English album soon to be released.

Edward Cheney has profiled up and coming star Tarkan in a recent business report in association with Cleveland Press.
"The most famous domestic star in his home country, out-sourcing his talents to an international market can not be easy," commented Cheney.
"But from this stand point, he is a very impressive man. In contrast to many of the other pop singers in his culture, I think he has been much more effctive in his attack plan to broach the US music market."
