 Back In The USA! 5-May-2004
Tarkan returned to America yesterday to continue working on his long-awaited album.
Due to Istanbul's traffic, he missed the check-in times for his flight, but managed to make it for departure (see pic).
The release date for the album is being kept a secret, however it is now expected for the album to be delayed until after the concerts in Europe. The new release date is rumoured to be Autumn 2004, but certain music critics are commenting that Tarkan may not release an album in 2004, after all.

 Tarkan's German Tour: Update 1-May-2004
Finally Tarkan comes to Germany. The tour starts May 30th in Oberhausen. Then to Stuttgart, Köln, München, Hannover and Berlin.
As recently reported, after a long creative hiatus Tarkan is back and will be starting a concert tour in Germany to promote his new English CD in May and June of 2004, followed by a Europe wide tour in the fall/winter of 2004.

 Tarkan In Bulgaria! 30-Apr-2004
Turkish pop star Tarkan thrilled his Bulgarian fans by coming to Sofia. He attended the opening ceremony of the first Opet Aygaz gas station in Bulgaria.
Tarkan became world renowned following his "Simarik" (Spoiled) song. French media even called him "The Prince of the Bosphorus".
The song with the kiss achieved the highest rankings in the international charts, although it's not entirely new. In Turkey, "Simarik" was played country-wide through the loud speakers over two years ago.

Last Saturday, April 24th 2004, Tarkan appeared in the well-known TopNews of the TV music-magazine show Top of the Pops in Germany.

Non-Turkish speaking fans have been waiting quite some time for the new look offical website to put an English section on-line.
It is still a work in progress, but many hope that it is a start to better things.

Tarkan fans outside of Turkey can now watch Tarkan's TV ad on OPET's official site.
Tarkan signed a deal with petroleum giant OPET for tour sponsorships and promos last year (2003).

 Tarkan’s Germany Tour 28-Mar-2004
Tarkan has sold countless albums and has become one of the most famous Turkish pop stars in the music business. Finally Tarkan is coming back to Germany. Starting May 30th 2004 Tarkan will begin performing six concerts throughout Germany that will kick off the Europe wide tour that will take place later in the year.
